If you’re enrolled in a school, university or coding bootcamp, Pro for Mac is $30 instead of $59.99 for your first year. Same app, same features, no account.
How it works
- 1.Enter your university email below. We check that the domain belongs to a school or university and send you a confirmation link.
- 2.Click the link. That proves the address is yours and sends your request to us.
- 3.We review it by hand and reply with a personal promo code, usually within two business days.
- 4.Go to Pricing, choose Buy yearly, and enter the code in the “Add promotion code” field at checkout. The first year is charged at $30.
Apply
No university email, or not recognised?
Bootcamps and some schools don’t give students an email address, and our domain list isn’t perfect. If the check says no and you’re enrolled, email license@httpglass.com with a photo of your student ID, an enrollment letter, or your GitHub Education status page. Cover anything you don’t want to share, such as your ID number or date of birth.
The fine print
- Each code is single-use and valid for 30 days after we send it.
- The discount is on your first payment. On the yearly plan that is the whole first year; on the monthly plan it is the first month only, so choose yearly to get the full benefit. Renewals are at the regular price; if you’re still a student then, email us before it renews and we’ll set the discount up again.
- It applies to the individual Pro plan for Mac. For a classroom or lab, email us about Team seats. The iPhone, iPad and Android apps are billed by Apple and Google, so the code doesn’t apply there.
- Your name, email and school go only into the request email we review. Nothing is stored beyond that.
